David Putman is a Principal with AQUILA Commercial where he specializes in office leasing and sales transactions.  Prior to joining AQUILA, Mr. Putman was Executive Vice President with Moore&Associates where he was responsible for the firm’s Austin property portfolio and Texas investment activities.  Prior to joining Moore&Associates in 2005, Mr. Putman was Vice President of Brokerage Services with CB Richard Ellis.

Mr. Putman has represented many institutional property owners including CommonWealth Partners, Behringer Harvard/TIER REIT, PacTrust and Spear Street Capital on some of Austin’s premier properties including 301 Congress and Capitol Center in the Austin CB, and The Terrace, Las Cimas, 9500 Arboretum, Research Park Plaza, Stonebridge Plaza and 7700 Parmer.

• Repositioned +/- 900,000 SF single tenant corporate campus into premier Class A multi-tenant opportunity completing +/- 500,000 SF of leases with credit technology companies including Polycom, Electronic Arts and Ebay
• Represented 301 Congress/CommonWealth Partners in largest CBD lease in 2012 with WhaleShark Media/RetailMeNot - 96,000 SF
• Completed 39 lease transactions totaling +/- 750,000 SF during 2011 and 31 lease transactions totaling +/- 485,000 SF during 2012

• Completed in excess of 7,000,000 square feet of leasing and sales transactions
• Represented corporate users for requirements totaling more than 1,000,000 square feet
