AQUILA Commercial is proud to be a member of Austin Gives

Austin Gives was created based on the Keystone program, part of the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce.  During a chamber visit to Minneapolis, we learned about this program designed to recognize and honor business philanthropy.

Knowing that Austinites too, can be very philanthropic, we wanted to incent and encourage Austin businesses to be generous in their support of our community.

Thanks to support from Eric Webber of McGarrah Jessee, we surveyed local Austin businesses and, based on their responses, developed the Austin version of Keystone.

Austin Gives is made up of participants who pledge to donate one percent or more of their pre-tax earnings to the community.

The purpose of Austin Gives is specifically to encourage and celebrate business philanthropy in metro Austin.

AQUILA Commercial is proud to support Goodwill Industries of Central Texas

AQUILA Commercial is proud to support the efforts of Goodwill Industries of Central Texas.

As one of the larger employers in Central Texas, Goodwill understands the importance of investing in our community. We offer resources to help individuals with barriers to employment move through obstacles within the workforce world. These barriers include physical and mental disabilities, as well as disadvantaging conditions such as lack of education and training, chronic homelessness and unemployment, at-risk youth, advanced age, criminal backgrounds and language barriers.

We have helped thousands of Central Texans gain self-sufficiency by helping them find meaningful employment. We know our continued success would not be possible without the support of our business partners and community members like you.

As the community grows, so do the needs. We will continue to further our mission, garner support, foster a positive work environment, maintain old friendships, develop new and exciting collaborations and invest more into our community. Together, we can make a difference!
