The identity of four finalists bidding for one of East Austin's most prominent developments have been revealed on a neighborhood organization's meeting agenda, as the Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority nears a decision on which developer will build the residential project with as many as 900 units on property it owns just east of I-35

The finalists – which have been a closely guarded secret at the transit agency – were identified as Argyle, Saltillo Collaborative, Riverside Resources and Endeavor Real Estate Group LLC

The list of Austin developers likely doesn't represent the full extent of the partnerships the developers have assembled for the project

For example, there are rumblings that Endeavor has partnered with Robert Shaw of Dallas-based development company Columbus Realty Partners on its proposal, and that Austin developer Perry Lorenz and Dallas-based Trammell Crow Co. are working on a plan as well. Many teams are working with nonprofits as well
