Another executive search firm is opening an Austin branch.

The Addison Group will launch finance and accounting, executive search and IT personnel services. Earlier this week Austin Fraser, a British recruitment company, said it will open an Austin office early next year.

Addison Group's Austin office will have up to 16 professionals and currently is operating out of temporary offices in the Arboretum. The firm will move to a permanent site this fall.

“Austin is an entrepreneurial city. There are countless well-funded startups and an influx of companies moving to the area ... as a result of this growth, there’s tremendous need for Austin-based companies to attract and retain talent,” said Phil Gaddis, president of the executive search group at Addison, in a written statement.

Craig Patterson will head up the executive search team in Austin. Dave Benjamin will be the finance and accounting manager and Hilary Craft will be the IT manager.

Patterson was an independent commercial real estate finance recruiter in Austin previously. He is a business graduate of Texas State University. Benjamin worked for Kforce, a staffing company, in multiple positions. He graduated from the University of Kansas. Craft was with the Addison Group in Houston. She graduated from Sam Houston State University.
