Austin PE firm acquires Ohio commercial interior products maker

An affiliate of Peak Rock Capital said Monday it has acquired the Ohio-based interior products division of RJF International Corp.


The former division, headquartered in Fairlawn, Ohio, has been branded as Koroseal Interior Products LLC. The company manufactures and distributes custom interior products sold to more than 10,000 clients worldwide


Among the company's core product portfolio of commercial wallcoverings, wall protection systems and dry-erasable wallcoverings are brands such as Koroseal, Vicrtex, Korogard and Walltalkers. Koroseal's products are utilized by interior designers, architects, contractors and corporations, and are typically used in to the hospitality, health care, corporate, retail, and education markets


In a statement, officials with Austin-based Peak Rock said they will look for potential acquisition targets for Koroseal. Rich Runkel, CEO of Koroseal, will continue in that capacity
