Austin PE firm affiliate buys Florida tissue paper manufacturer

Atlas Southeast Papers Inc., an affiliate of Austin-based private equity firm Peak Rock Capital LLC, has acquired Florida tissue paper product producer Roses Southeast Papers LLC. Terms of the deal were not disclosed


With the acquisition, Atlas Southeast Papers, based in Sanford, Florida, north of Orlando, now has a facility in the same city that can produce products ranging from toilet paper to paper towels to a variety of napkins


Peak Rock CEO Anthony DiSimone said in a statement that the company looks forward "to supporting Atlas Southeast and its employees in further establishing the company as a leading manufacturer and supplier of jumbo rolls and converted paper products."


Peak Rock spokesperson Daniel Yunger declined to disclose further details about the company's future staffing plans for Roses Southeast Papers


Peak Rock was advised during the acquisition by Chicago-based Mesirow Financial


Peak Rock has made a number of acquisitions this year. In June, it announced the acquisition of home improvement product manufacturer RCR International Inc. In March, it announced the acquisition of RJF International Corp to create ProFusion Industries LLC
