An Austin startup has raised $2.1 million to expand its photo-sharing application for college students

Bearch Inc. will use the funding to add features to Unseen, an anonymous photo-sharing app aimed at college students

The free app, which was created by Michael Schramm and Munjal Budhabhatti, launched at Texas A&M University in May. Since then, Unseen has been released at more than 40 college campuses and plans call for being available at 150 campuses by the end of August

Investors in the deal include Rackspace co-founder Dirk Elmendorf, Indeed.com CEO Rony Kahan and Bryan-based Woodbolt International CEO Doss Cunningham

Unseen was created to connects students by providing a safe place to share thoughts and experiences. The app, which is moderated, requires no sign in, logins or names. It only requires users be associated with a college campus
