Querium Corp., an eLearning company, has completed an $800,000 round of financing

The Austin-based company reported Wednesday that investors included Tennessee-based ICG Ventures Inc. It will use the capital for product development and to support its sales and marketing activities, according to a company statement

Querium, which launched in 2013, is developing an adaptive learning program designed to enable prospective Texas college students to prepare for the state-mandated placement test: the TSI Assessment

CEO Kent Fuka is also chairman of Austin-based Thinkwell Corp. and the president of KNCL Management Inc., a consulting firm for technology startups, according to his online profile

In mid-2014, Querium reported raising $720,223 of a planned $1.4 million financing from six investors, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission

In October 2013, the company raised $278,895 of a planned $550,000 financing from five investors
