Consulting firm BP3 Global Inc. has acquired London-based Modexe Ltd. for an undisclosed amount

The Austin-based business disclosed Tuesday that it will operate the newly-acquired company as BP3 Global Ltd. in the United Kingdom, according to a company statement

BP3 Global, founded in 2007, provides business process management consulting, software implementation and process improvement initiatives. It now employs 75 workers; 41 are based in Austin

In July, BP3 Global expanded its office for the third time in four years to meet heavy demand for its software and services. It moved from a 6,000-square-foot office on North MoPac Expressway to the 12,000-square-foot previous home of Calxeda Inc., the semiconductor chipmaker that shuttered operations in late 2013, the Austin Business Journal reported

CEO Lance Gibbs said he expects BP3 Global to employ 75-90 Austin workers within two years, and 125-150 within three as the demand for process management outstrips the supply of vendors

The growth is being fueled by clients who are concerned that poor business processes can affect customer experiences

Last year, BP3 Global generated revenue of $8 million and is projected to reach $14 million this year. It operates offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, Cleveland, Minneapolis and Atlanta
