Precision-guided firearms developer TrackingPoint Inc. has reported receiving $4.1 million in financing

The Pflugerville-based company collected the capital from six investors, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission

TrackingPoint, which develops extreme long-distance rifles, moved its headquarters from Austin to Pflugerville in April, where it plans to build a $3 million, 500-yard ballistics testing lab, company executives said

In May, it named Jason Schauble as CEO. Monday's SEC filing, however, lists John Lupher as the company’s CEO and chief technology officer. Lupher couldn't immediately be reached for comment

“He was responsible for engineering development from initial concept through technology demonstration and productization,” according to his profile on the website operated by Austin Ventures LP, which lists TrackingPoint as one of its portfolio companies
