Austin software firm inks agreement with HP

Software maker Database-Brothers Inc. has reached an agreement that will see Hewlett-Packard Co. offer DBI’s tools as part of its managed services customer outsourcing agreements


The Austin-based company said Wednesday the deal is designed to accelerate value for HP clients and, for non-outsourced clients, HP (NYSE: HPQ) will be a DBI authorized reseller


Database-Brothers, founded in 2005, develops database performance management tools. The company employs nine workers


In April, Database-Brothers appointed Jason Paull as CEO


Paull previously worked for refresH20, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Continental Airlines Inc. Database-Brothers also announced this year collecting an undisclosed amount of investment capital from unidentified private equity investors
