Data Foundry breaks ground on Houston Data Center

Austin-based Data Foundry will break ground on a 350,000-square-foot data center in the north Houston area of Greenspoint, according to the Houston Chronicle


According to the report, it is the second Houston data center built for Data Foundry but it’s the first one the company has built from the ground up


The facility was designed by architecture firm Corgan and KW Engineering. It is being built by Holder Construction Co. 


Founded in 1994 as Texas.net, Data Foundry was one of the first 50 Internet service providers in the U.S. It built its first Austin data center in 1999
