Fallbrook Technologies Inc. has sold its Dynasys Auxiliary Power Unit business to a Nebraska company

Cedar Park-based Fallbrook sold the business to Tridako Ltd., which operates as Tridako Energy Systems. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed in statement released by Fallbrook

Tridako is the maker of the PowerCube auxilary power unit, the power and energy division of Nebraska-based Perrin Manufacturing Inc., a 35-year-old company that manufactures heating and air-conditioning units for offroad commercial vehicles and auxiliary power units

The transaction is scheduled to close April 1

Fallbrook, founded in 1998 as Motion Systems Inc., employs about 115 workers in Cedar Park and 151 across its national footprint. It also operates offices in Europe and China

Last year, the company, which develops continuously variable planetary transmissions moved its headquarters from California to Cedar Park

Fallbrook acquired the Dynasys business three years ago with an expectation that incorporating NuVinci CVP technology would improve the value of the Dynasys APU to offset the additional per-unit cost, Fallbrook CEO William G. Klehm III said in the statement
