Home improvement and builder supply company Tri-Supply Co. is preparing for a $5 million expansion and relocation in Temple

The company, which employs 41, has operated a location north of Austin in Temple for the past 10 years. On April 25, the company announced it would relocate to a new, 120,000-square-foot building at the Temple Economic Development Corp.'s Industrial Park. The company is expected to hire at least five more employees as part of the expansion

The new facility features a 40,000-square-foot showroom and an 80,000-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse area, the company said in a statement. Site preparation began in January and the new construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year

The land is owned by the Temple Economic Development Corp., which reached a real estate agreement with the company. The details of the deal were not made public. The Temple Economic Development Corp. is a private organization and is not required to release its agreement, a spokeswoman for the agency said
