Iconixx Software closes $4.5M funding

Iconixx Software Corp. reported completing a $4.5 million round of financing


The Austin-based company collected the capital from six investors, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission


Iconixx Software, founded in 2010, develops integrated software tools related to sales compensation, bonus and salary management. CEO Derrick Deyhimi has previously declined to disclose the number of workers his company employs


In late 2012, Iconixx completed a $4.7 million Series B round of financing from six investors, an SEC filing shows. At the time, Deyhimi said he planned to hire 50 workers during 2013 and expand his workforce to about 200 employees over the ensuing two years


Florida-based Ballast Point Partners was the lead investor in the Series B funding


In 2010, Iconixx acquired the compensation software division of Austin-based nGenera Corp. called “nGen Comp” for an undisclosed amount. The deal was completed with financial backing from KBH Ventures LLC, an Austin-based private equity firm
