Innovari buys Green Bay energy platform company

Innovari Inc., an Austin-based energy infrastructure management platform developer, has acquired Green Bay, Wisconsin-based NetPeak Energy, Innovari announced Monday. Financial terms of the deal aren't disclosed
NetPeak Energy designs products to help energy utilities better respond to demand spikes. Innovari officials touted the acquisition of NetPeak Energy as a way to provide more comprehensive services to its clients
"Bringing the NetPeak Energy and Innovari teams together will serve to continue to strengthen our relationships with utilities and commercial customers," Innovari founder and CEO Chris Hickman said in the announcement. "We can now offer unparalleled opportunities to tens of thousands of commercial customers who are ready and willing to support their individual utility's grid optimization efforts."
Innovari has been staking out a larger space on the global scene as well. In the announcement, the acquisition of NetPeak Energy was said to complement Innovari's recent expansion into Latin America. In June, the company completed the deployment of its interactive energy platform in Mumbai, India
