MindQuilt Inc. reported Monday receiving $325,051 of a planned $403,210 financing

The Austin-based company collected the capital from 15 investors

MindQuilt, which was incorporated in 2012, develops what the company calls “knowledge sharing tools.” It was founded by a group of former Vodafone Group plc (Nasdaq: VOD) employees who spun the company out as a stand-alone venture and relocated to Austin in mid-2010, according to its website

CEO Larry Upton was previously the CEO of Austin-based Edioma Inc., director of business development for MessageOne Inc. and director of the original equipment manufacturer channel for Dantz Development Corp., his online profile shows
