Nimboxx completes $12M Series A financing, report says

Nimboxx Inc. has reportedly completed a $12 million Series A round of financing


The Austin-based startup, founded in San Antonio in late 2011, developed a virtual machine data-center-in-a-box. It collected the capital from Hong Kong-based SMC Holdings, according to technology news website Gigaom


Nimboxx employs 26 workers. Its product focus is on small- to medium-sized businesses, Gigaom reported


Founder and Chief Technology Officer David Cauthron was previously the chief technology officer of Hong Kong-based Galactic Computing Corp. for 10 years. He was also the senior technology consultant of Neutility Inc., according to his online profile


CEO Rocky Bullock was the president of Image Microsystems Inc. and Dell Inc.’s vice president of enterprise operations, his online profile indicates
