On-Airstreaming, the live music video content business created by Austin radio personality J.B. Hager, has secured a deal with Yahoo Inc. that will have its video library placed throughout the web portal's site

The non-exclusive deal will see the companies split ad revenue generated from the roughly 500 live performances and interviews On-Airstreaming has cataloged since launching in late 2010

The company's videos currently generate tens of thousands of views. Hager said the high-profile placement on the Yahoo! Music section of the site and elsewhere is expected to generate millions more views

On-Airstreaming began out of a classic Airstream trailer located in the Pecan Grove trailer park in downtown Austin and later moved into a retail space near the Second Street district near the W Hotel Austin

Hager and his partners Paul Boukadakis, Sam Shah and Reid Mangan have moved the business to its third home, a seven-trailer setup located at the Vintage Innovations classic tour bus park located on West Third Street. The new location gives the company more options for how to configure its performances and add variety to its videos

Hager said a former Yahoo video executive who has joined his company is also busy pursuing other content partnerships that will utilize On-Airstreaming's library and take advantage of worldwide interest in Austin music

"We started having conversations with Yahoo! in late 2014 because their music people really liked the selection of artists we had and liked our story," Hager said. "It took a little time to flesh out the deal and this kind of arrangement is always what we had in mind when we launched the company. We proud of the product we've created and as music lovers we want more eyeballs on it."
