SpareFoot Inc. has scheduled an employee recruiting event next month to fill 30 customer service positions

The Austin-based company plans to host the event on Feb. 11 at the company's downtown headquarters. The open call-center positions are for SpareFoot's 75-person Amazing Customer Experience Team that takes calls from consumers looking for self-storage nationally

The new workers are expected to start work by late April, according to a company blog post

To be eligible for SpareFoot's event, applicants need to apply for the ACE Team at http://bit.ly/ACE-speed-dating. The application deadline is Feb. 3

SpareFoot, which was founded in 2008 and is led by CEO Chuck Gordon, operates an online marketplace listing self-storage units nationally. It employs about 180 workers

The company was one of the five startups that completed the Capital Factory's first 10-week incubator program in 2009. It now lists units for 8,000 storage facilities in the United States

In February 2014, Sparefoot completed a $10 million Series C round of financing, increasing to $26 million the amount of investment capital the startup has raised since launching. Investors include New York-based Insight Venture Partners, the Capital Factory, California-based Floodgate Fund LP and Austin-based Silverton Partners
