Texas investors unload major office tandem in Southwest Austin

Invesco Real Estate, a publicly-traded investment management company headquartered in Atlanta, has purchased Barton Oaks Plaza II and III east of MoPac Expressway at Bee Cave Road

The seller was a joint venture between Austin-based HPI Real Estate Services & Investments and Dallas-based Sarofim Realty Advisors. The sales price or terms of the deal were not disclosed. HFF, based in Dallas, represented the seller and disclosed the transaction

The buildings that Invesco acquired include nearly 6.8 acres of land

The two five-story buildings have a total of 237,835 square feet and are 90 percent leased with several tenants: Fiserve Solutions, GSC Architects, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and Parsons Brinckerhoff
