Out of the 15 startups on a new, national list of the best young companies to work for, two are from Austin

Sparefoot Inc. and Sputnik Creative made the cut on office-furniture seller Turnstone's inaugural list of the Best Young Companies to Work For. The division of Michigan-based Steelcase Inc. announced that it received more than one hundred nominations from across the country, and judges focused on employers that have a positive culture, notable talent retention, community outreach and "intentionally designed workspace."

Sparefoot runs a website that essentially acts as a HomeAway.com for self-storage units and Sputnik Creative is a digital branding studio

Sparefoot was a winner in the Austin Business Journal's 2013 Best Places to Work program
