ULI ranks Austin in its top 10 real estate markets

The Urban Land Institute published its annual Emerging Trends in Real Estate 2014 report to coincide with the organization’s fall conference that was held in Chicago, and the survey puts Austin smack-dab in the midst of the commercial real estate action across all major markets

Austin ranked seventh for investment and development prospects. The research-intensive report cites real estate experts as being high on Austin

“The Texas state capital metro area continues to be a favorite of interviewees. Interest in it is now at a point where investors are willing to take on more risk,” the report states

The analysis of Austin continues with kudos for job growth, housing construction and attracting new businesses “aiming to take advantage of relatively lower business costs, lower taxes and a highly trained workforce.”
