Kimbia Inc., an Austin software developer, reported receiving a $674,999 financing

The Austin-based company collected the capital from three investors, according to Tuesday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission

Kimbia, which was launched in 2007 as Kimbia Software Inc., develops Web-based fundraising and event management software. The company employed 11 workers in 2011

That year, Kimbia reported completing a $4 million Series B round of funding led by local venture capital firm S3 Ventures

Kimbia’s software is designed for online fundraisers, event organizers and social advocates. The company claims to  have more than 1,100 customers. Previously, Kimbia was backed by its founders and angel investors, including the Central Texas Angel Network, officials said

In February, Kimbia launched a free connector designed to automatically import donation and registration data from the company’s platform into Salesforce.com. It was expected to reduce integration time and costs so nonprofits can take advantage of Salesforce.com’s customer relationship management features
