Chris Perry is one of the founding principals of AQUILA. Chris has decades of tenant representation experience and has represented a number of Austin’s most iconic brands, including C3 Presents, Main Street Hub, and LatinWorks. He’s very loyal to his clients and he enjoys spending time with them both in and out of the office.

An exemplar of AQUILA’s work hard, play hard mentality, Chris is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time hunting and fishing, as well as getting active playing tennis, skiing, or working out. Chris’ true passion is for his family; he has two teenage children (son Cole and daughter Ella) with his partner-in-crime and wife of nearly 20 years, Lauri Perry.

I sat down for a Q&A with Chris to learn more about him. Read his answers below to get to know him a little better!

Q: You’ve lived in Austin most of your life. What is it about this city?

A: Austin has a really unique culture. There are great restaurants, nightlife, stuff to do, and beautiful outdoors and weather most of the year. The river runs right through the city. It’s just a great place to live, not only from a quality-of-life standpoint but from a business standpoint as well. We have such an influx of people from all over the place which gives us a diverse background. It just lends to a very cool culture – we’re just very diverse, very accepting and I like that.

Q: What is your favorite part about working for AQUILA?

A: The people. I look forward to coming into the office and I appreciate the team-oriented chemistry that we have here where we’re all working towards shared goals.
