SXSW is next week, and with all that action, you're sure to need some late night snacks.
Whether you’re in need of a round the clock diner to feed you and your team after a day of networking, or you’re looking for somewhere to grab a bite after a midnight show, these eight late night haunts will surely fit the bill.
This iconic Austin spot has a few locations with varying hours (this location is 24-hours). They offer delicious breakfast and lunch fare, but are known for their Kerby Queso. This queso is packed full of guacamole, pico, and is legendary around the University of Texas campus.
With a few locations around Austin (we recommend the original), their slogan, “Everybody Knows – Everybody Goes,” rings true for Austinites. They offer delicious breakfast food served 24/7.
3. 24 Diner
This 24-hour spot makes great breakfast food, but also has tasty burgers and sandwiches. The restaurant also offers a gluten-free menu and has a full bar.
Open every night until 2am, venture into this bar and place your order at the burger window. We recommend an order of Verde Chili Fries and the Armadillo Burger, which is piled high with serrano peppers, jalapeno jack & ¾ lb. of beef.
5. Easy Tiger
With both the bakery and the beer garden open until 2am, Easy Tiger offers a delicious reprieve from the mayhem of Dirty Sixth. Serving up homemade sausage & pretzels, over 30 beers on tap, and a ping pong table out back, this spot is a great hangout.
Open until 3am on the weekends, this spot offers a variety of doughnut creations. The truly brave can take a stab at the Ron Burgandy, a burger with bacon, fried egg, cheese, guac, tomato and mayo, served on a doughnut bun.
This trailer located on Congress stays open until 3 am to quell your late night hunger. They offer authentic Turkish style wraps and kebabs. While all are delicious, the hungry and indecisive can opt for the Spoiled Brat, which comes with beef, lamb, chicken and falafel.
If you are looking for a delicious, quick, cheap meal this is a great place to try. They offer Asian fusion, as well as their delicious take on Pho. Open until 2 am every night, except Sunday.
