AQUILA Commercial today announced that Jon Wheless has been named partner. Jon joined AQUILA in 2008 and celebrated his eighth year with the firm last June.

Jon specializes in tenant representation and is the leader of AQUILA’s corporate services department. He works with a broad range of clients, from up-and-coming gaming and technology firms to established local institutions. His client roster includes Main Street Hub, Snow Software, Aristocrat Technologies and The University of Texas.
Jon began his career with AQUILA as one of the firm’s first interns and put in the time and hard work to move up through the ranks to earn the leadership position he holds today.
“I first met Jon when he was interning for me at The Staubach Company,” says Jay Lamy, founding principal with AQUILA. “Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure to watch him grow in the business, and I’m excited to now call him both a partner and a good friend.”
Jon has been named an Austin Business Journal Heavy Hitter multiple years and, in 2013, was a member of the Leadership Austin, Emerge Class.
