Austin, TX —

Generational Commercial Properties is pleased to announce that it’s development, Riata Crossing 6, has been selected for Greater Texas Credit Union’s new headquarters location.

Riata Crossing 6 is a planned office development in northwest Austin, located at 12544 Riata Vista Circle, adjacent to the current Apple campus. Greater Texas Credit Union will take the entire project, a two-story, 50,480-sf office building and will own the building upon completion.

“Our new corporate office reflects a new chapter in the history of the credit union, and renews our commitment to our members, employees and the community,” said Howard Baker, Greater Texas Credit Union President and CEO. “By consolidating back-office functions in a single, modern facility, we will achieve desired operational efficiencies and synergies that not only position the credit union for a new phase of growth, but also facilitates increased capacity to provide top-tier banking experiences for members and a top-tier working environment for employees.”

Generational Commercial Properties will develop the project on behalf of the credit union.

“We’re excited to be underway on our newest build to suit. Riata Crossing 6 is an amazing project incorporating the best of today’s technology-driven office needs built for an amazing financial institution,” says Joe Llamas, Principal with Generational Commercial Properties.

Construction is expected to begin in the next few weeks, and the project is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2020.

Studio 8 is the architect behind the project, and Zapalac Reed is the general contractor.

Bethany Perez, Bart Matheney and Chad Barrett with AQUILA Commercial represented the seller, Generational Commercial Properties, and Lance Morris with Retail Connection represented the buyer, Greater Texas Federal Credit Union in the transaction.
