JP Hernandez

As a building engineer at AQUILA, JP helps keep properties operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. Drawing on several years of hands-on building operations experience, he supports the day-to-day needs of the properties he serves and helps ensure tenants have a well-maintained environment.

Before joining AQUILA, JP spent four years as a building engineer with Stream Realty Partners. He began building his facilities experience as a day porter with PJS and previously worked in security with ADM/Priebe. Together, these roles gave him a strong foundation in property operations, customer service, safety, and problem-solving.

JP is an Austin native and proud Longhorns fan. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his kids and exploring different parts of the city.
