Kathy’s career spans brokerage, corporate real estate, and construction, giving her a unique perspective on the full lifecycle of commercial real estate projects. She began her career as a broker before moving into landlord leasing and later corporate real estate leadership roles, where she managed workplace operations, relocations, and facilities teams across global real estate portfolios. Often described as the “Swiss Army knife” of the industry, Kathy brings a rare blend of strategic insight, operational expertise, and authentic leadership. Having worked inside corporate real estate organizations responsible for offices, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers around the world, she understands firsthand the practical challenges companies face when opening, relocating, or transforming workplaces.
Kathy is also a passionate mentor and advocate for women in commercial real estate. She actively gives back through coaching, storytelling, and serving in leadership roles across industry organizations.
Based in Austin for many years, Carr has witnessed the city’s remarkable growth firsthand. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, biking, gardening, and catching live music around town.
